This cacao has been grown with great care in a sizeable regenerative agroforestry system, respecting the environment, and natural cycles, and avoiding the use of synthetic chemicals in order to protect the ecosystem and those who work there.
We believe in the beauty of the cacao ritual and its ancient role in Mesoamerican culture. For this reason, we have created a cacao paste with a rough texture, obtained by stone-pressing the cacao beans. This paste will allow you to discover a new aspect of this functional food.
ABOUT THE ORIGIN OF THIS CACAO
We are very attached to this plantation because we saw it grow from day one, when JuanRa, co-founder of Vaicacao, encouraged his uncle Jaime and his cousin Roberto to plant the theobroma cacao trees. Finca di S. Fernando is located in the Cordillera del Bàlsamo, in the municipality of Ateos, El Salvador. The cocoa trees grow luxuriantly and with respect for biodiversity, under a dense agroforestry roof. We are proud to let you try this unique cacao in the world and we are deeply grateful for this vital collaboration of intentions between those who grow it and us.

How it looks: In cubes. Due to its acriollada genetics, it has a light brown color (it is natural to notice whitish spots on the cacao, especially in summer due to high temperatures - this effect is due to the crystallization of the cacao butter).

- For the "ceremonial" dose it is 30-42g per person. Instead, we recommend not exceeding 30g per person, in the case of daily and continuous use, it would be more appropriate to use around 10-15g. max. Otherwise, it is good to use it every other day. (If you have caffeine sensitivity, you may decrease the ceremonial dose up to 24g.)
- Being pure cacao paste, it becomes a natural and very energetic food; for this reason, it should be drunk with awareness and caution, avoiding excesses, and preferring a varied and balanced diet.
- Consult your / your specialist in case of pregnancy or in case of severe heart disease.
- The stimulating and energizing effect of cacao begins about half an hour after its intake. We recommend drinking a glass of water before and after to aid absorption and digestion.
